My Approach to Helping
Seeking therapy is the first step towards a healthy self-care regimen. By seeking therapy you are moving to a healthier and happier you! Therapy can help you with many things including a positive outlook, increased self-worth, as well as stronger relationship skills. My approach is to assist you to move into a positive direction, and I will tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. I enjoy working with all age groups and populations.
I am currently an LPC-Intern and work under the direct supervision of Dr. Rosemary Z. Hernandez, Ph.D., LPC-S, NCC, CCMHC at her private practice. I am here to provide a non-judgmental safe place to help people while utilizing coping-strategies, listening skills, as well as providing a trusting atmosphere. I specialize in women’s’ issues and hope to reach women who are wishing to make positive changes in their lives. I hope that I can help instill hope into women who have experienced trauma or are struggling with relationship problems. I can provide a space that is safe and can assure you that I am a trustworthy, compassionate, attentive listener who can help you move in the direction that you want to go.
The relationship I offer is one of an ally, whether that means being here to help you cope with what has happened in the past, or whether it means being here to take that first step to a healthier and happier you. Again, I wish to commend you on your bravery, as well as your perseverance.
