GoodTherapy.org Continuing Education Archive Includes Over 400 Hours

Office desk with headset, notepad and pc.As of November 18. 2016, GoodTherapy.org has amassed over 400 hours of continuing education events in our Members Only archive. This comes as a result of ongoing effort from our continuing education (CE) team to identify and recruit high-quality speakers and presenters, and offer these events to GoodTherapy.org members at no additional charge to monthly membership.

“It’s a little mind-blowing to know that since 2008, we’ve done 400 hours of continuing education webinars,” says GoodTherapy.org founder and CEO Noah Rubinstein. “Added together, that’s 16 full days of facing the screen and moderating events.” In the last year and a half alone, the GoodTherapy.org team has organized and hosted more than 50 events, adding over 100 CE hours to our archive.

“We’ve put so much energy into creating one of the top-notch CE programs for mental health professionals,” says Rubinstein, “I’m always surprised to find GoodTherapy.org members who don’t know about our webinars.” If you are a GoodTherapy.org member who has not yet taken advantage of the CE archive, please consider exploring the wealth of information available there! CE events—both completed and upcoming—are available at no additional cost to GoodTherapy.org members. Learn about many other perks of GoodTherapy.org membership and begin your registration process here today.

CE event topics range from practice management assistance—for instance, webinars covering HIPAA compliance, ethics in therapy, or legal matters related to counseling—to specific mental health issues such as grief, anxiety, depression, or trauma. Other presentations focus on specific methods or modalities of psychotherapy, such as neuropsychology, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and more.

The GoodTherapy.org CE program is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA), the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), the Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC), the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), and the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work.

GoodTherapy.org brings in leaders and innovators in the fields of psychology and psychotherapy, and we are immensely proud to have welcomed world-renowned presenters like Gabor Maté, Sue Johnson, Bessel van der Kolk, Ofer Zur, and many other celebrated authors and psychotherapy professionals.

From Noah Rubinstein and the entire GoodTherapy.org team, a heartfelt thanks—“to all the amazing innovators in the field of psychotherapy who’ve presented for us over the last eight years, and to our incredible continuing education team for all their efforts!”

And judging from the content of the website as a whole I would think that many of the topics that you are providing for approach and understanding are much more interesting and valuable to their studies than other credit hours that they might find online.
