If you are looking for a therapist or counselor, most likely you are in emotional turmoil, going through a difficult life change, having relationship problems, or are generally dissatisfied with yourself and/or your life. I understand that these can be isolating and painful experiences. As a therapist, my aim is to work with you to help you feel better and make changes.

Usually, these are not simple goals and may take time and hard work. Sometimes you can accomplish your goals with just a few consultations. However, if you have found yourself in similar situations over and over again, we might need to use a more in-depth, long-term approach.

I provide a safe place where you can work through things. I give you my focused attention, trained observations, and compassion. Sometimes, I help by simply listening; sometimes by pointing out patterns you may not have seen (because it's hard to see everything when you're too close to it all); sometimes I help by giving you opportunities to try-out different behaviors and give feedback; and sometimes I help by gently nudging you to keep with it (because change can be hard).
