My Approach to Helping
Dominique Flint is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She is excited to work with adults, parents, friends, and couples who are faced to manage unique challenges. Dominique specializes in treating anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, parenting issues, stress management, women's issues, racial/ethnic challenges, boundary setting and assertiveness skills, and emotional intelligence. Dominique completed her Master's degree in Counseling degree from Youngstown State University. She approaches therapy with a profound respect for the protected space that is necessary for clients to do real transformational work. She thinks that learning about the whole person is important to understanding how they became the unique person they are. Dominique uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), among other techniques. Dominique enjoys working with adults. She believes that building on the strength of each client will help to empower them. Dominque also believes in meeting clients where they are.
