I love working with couples and individuals. I believe that the best outcomes happen when a SAFE PLACE is created for you to express your deeply held thoughts and feeling as they are formed and revealed in individual and joint sessions. In this way each of you can support the other as you grow and change as individuals and learn to reconnect as partners.
I believe that the problem is not you or the people in your life but rather the cycles and patterns of interaction that have developed in your relationships. It is a joint process of mutual understanding that gives rise to new patterns of interaction that create connection and intimacy.
Whether I work with you as an individual or part of a couple, my commitment is to listen and to the best of my ability understand your struggle. Throughout my life I have grappled with many of the same issues you are facing. My life experience combined with unique training will give us a good opportunity to address the issues you face.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
Self-discovery, awareness, and to make the changes you want to be more in harmony with yourself and the people in your life.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
In every person I see a small part of myself. I learn so much from the people I work with. We learn together.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
You will go for it when you are ready.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
Each therapist/customer relationship is unique. Like any other relationship, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Use your intuition and cognitive mind to make your decision to go with any particular person. Trust yourself and honor your feelings.
What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
I follow you with gentle encouragement. Therapy is an investment in yourself that will benefit you in relationships, improved confidence and increased peace of mind. Come into therapy with an open mind and a willingness to tolerate uncomfortable thoughts and feelings until you come to acceptance of who you are, your true values and life goals.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
To be on a path of self-discovery and awareness requires strength and courage. You are brave to start on this journey.
