Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
Are you raising an exceptional child? Do you have a unique parenting experience that makes it hard to connect with and relate to other mothers?
One of the areas of expertise I have is helping mothers of children with high emotional needs. I offer an eight week support group just for moms of special children. Currently I am offering the group during the spring and fall of 2017. Check my website out for more details and the next offering!
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
The hardest part of going to therapy is taking the first step. Often times, we want the problems to go away on their own, but they usually don't. Therapy is an investment in you and your future life! It can be a time to grow as a person, to focus on your own needs, and feel healthier in your relationships. To make the most of your time in therapy, it's important to find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable. I recommend calling a few people and talking with them on the phone to determine who is good fit for you. Feel free to call me for a free phone consultation.
