I recently received some warm feedback from a former client (shared with permission): "The space you create in your office was very helpful to me and the time we spent together has traveled with me far past those walls. I am inspired by what change can be created in that environment." When you want to grow and change in a safe space, I'm here to partner with you.

I collaborate with adults to create powerful relationships based on secure connections. My clients learn to resolve conflicts and find a path to fulfillment together. I can help you understand your concerns, manage your emotions, learn strategies and skills to communicate better. I can help you chart the course forward from a place of safe vulnerability. I partner with clients build a sense of self and authenticity. With some, I work through this process over several months, and with many we jump in and out of this process as needed, several sessions at a time.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

When young adults emerge from the structure of family and educational settings, life can feel uncertain and unsure. As relationships develop, we often revert to old patterns from previous models and this doesn't always work well. I help clients find their way, build their own paths, develop the relationships they want for themselves, escaping from past conflicts and old ways of doing things. When relationships are built on strong, secure attachments, the sexual relationship becomes powerful and enriching. I work with clients to overcome past hurts and foster the attachments that contribute to the sexual relationships they want. I work with many clients exploring and negotiating non-monogamy, BDSM, Kinks and Fetishes in a safe, non-judgmental space.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is about developing awareness of oneself and building the path to living the life we want with fulfillment and contentment. It is an opportunity to step out of the distress to look at where we are and where we've come from so we can make intentional, conscious decisions about how we'll live the way we want to.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I typically leave the office feeling invigorated and alive. The opportunity to connect and collaborate with people in discovering their truths, setting intentions for self-development, and making progress towards their goals is rewarding.
