Amanda Sapale, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

My name is Amanda Sapale and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Denver, Colorado and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults on challenges such as anxiety, life transitions, and relationship concerns, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, and other techniques to help my clients make progress and start feeling better. Clients have remarked on how quickly they felt safety in our sessions because of my warm and approachable style. While still maintaining professional boundaries, I make it a point to be authentically myself. It would hardly be fair for me to expect clients to be vulnerable if I were to hide behind an artificially stiff and formal facade. I try to find a good balance between being your cheerleader when you need that and also pointing out and challenging maladaptive thoughts and behaviors when I see them.
