My Approach to Helping
Making changes can be difficult, and I am dedicated to discovering how I can best support each of my clients throughout their own unique transformation. I intend to offer practical tools to integrate into daily life so that my clients move towards wholeness and gently risk new ways of being more authentic. If you have lost your way, struggle with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, OCD, depression, addiction, relationships, or self-image, we can identify obstacles and build resources that allow the natural movement of your experiences to flow through with less struggle, avoidance, or numbing.
I am a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), the Sacramento Valley Chapter of CAMFT (SVC-CAMFT), United States Association of Body Psychotherapy (USABP), Association for Contextual Behavior Science (ACBS), and the Northern California Group Psychotherapy Society (NCGPS).
My style is to be kind, strength-based, collaborative, direct, grounded, and real. I aim for our therapeutic process to stay close to the muscle, blood, and bones of our beings. My primary orientations are Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

My Role as a Therapist
I see our work together as a creative process that fosters self-awareness, insight, and gives you the support you need to move your life forward in the ways that you want. I utilize an eclectic approach grounded in Somatic Psychology. Drawing from Mindfulness, Humanistic Psychology, attachment theory, movement therapy, yoga, and the most current neurobiology research, I bring together many modalities in a tangible psychotherapeutic philosophy.
