My goal is to help you improve your quality of life, dramatically. I will help you make positive changes by reducing your anxiety, easing your stress, and helping you gain more control in your life. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), crisis intervention therapy, and interpersonal therapy with a focus on anxiety, addiction, depression, and relationship issues.
CBT leads to long-term positive, effective results. Crisis intervention therapy provides immediate, short-term assistance to people experiencing mental, emotional, behavioral and/or physical distress. Interpersonal therapy is a short-term, structured psychotherapy focusing on interactions between people and their roles in the development of adverse symptoms.
My professional experience, training and background have concentrated on psychological assessment, coordination and implementation of clinical programs. I have provided direct services to adults, adolescents, children and their families. I have also conducted psychological testing, assessment, and treatment in private practice and psychiatric hospital/residential treatment center settings.
