My Approach to Helping

It is my belief that therapy is a conversation about change. My mission is to provide my clients with compassionate, heartfelt, and effective therapy and to have our work together create a solid and long lasting foundation for this change.

I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in psychotherapy. I am trained to connect with people in emotional need with the goal of helping them learn, grow, and heal. I also find it essential to acknowledge the complexities and layers of my clients' lives while supporting the process of change and healing.

I specialize in working with addictive behaviors, anxiety, depression, assessment and treatment of sexual dysfunctions, and relationship concerns. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings including community mental health, college counseling, home visits, inpatient mental health settings, and residential and substance abuse treatment settings. I have also worked as an outpatient psychotherapist at Philadelphia's only "LGBTQ" wellness center and have extensive experience in gender identity, sexual identity, and transitioning concerns.

I earned my Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice and my undergraduate degree in psychology from Wesleyan University.
