My Approach to Helping
As a therapist, I have a calming presence. My work with you begins from this place of inner calm, and a deep knowing that in the midst of all the pain and suffering in life all is truly well. My role as your therapist is to compassionately and non-judgmentally guide you on your quest to ease your pain and suffering, heal your wounds, and call home your lost soul parts. With understanding and acceptance, I guide you in your search to discover your own place of inner calm, and your own loving, joyous, peaceful center within where you are your authentic self. To guide you on your way I use a framework of exploration, gaining insight, and taking action.
More Info About My Practice
I describe my therapeutic style as where East meets West, and the alternative meets the conventional. I'm an eclectic, holistic, and intuitive therapist who places an emphasis on mindfulness and somatic experience. Together we customize your therapy according to who you are, how you need to grow, and what you need to change. Collaboratively, you and I find the ideal mix of counseling theories. We strike the right balance of structured and organic sessions, talk therapy and just being, and homework assignments. Creativity, body-awareness, and movement can be used in any amount that suits you to support your healing process. Meditation, yogic philosophy, and the human energy body can also be focused on as much or little as you need on your path to well-being. In addition to my work as a counselor, I am an Usui Ryoho Reiki Master & Teacher. If you are interested we can integrate this type of energy healing into your therapy.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I counsel individuals and couples. Sexual trauma, sexual functioning, relationship difficulties, female ejaculation, mindfulness meditation, and spiritual awakenings through Kundalini make up the essence of my work. However, my work embodies issues beyond these such as anxiety, depression, and more. I am also a Reiki energy healer. For more information about my practice please visit my website.
