My Approach to Helping

It can be challenging to find a safe, therapeutic home especially for those identifying as queer, transgender, and non-binary. You deserve a therapist who is accepting and compassionate. My goal for you is to leave our first meeting feeling heard and supported. I am committed to creating and maintaining a safe and nonjudgmental space for people to explore their life experiences, identity, and strengths. Therapy is not one size fits all. In order to meet the individualized needs of my clients, I utilize an integrative approach of evidence-based practices.

My experience working in nursing homes, hospitals, and community-based settings provided me with skills to assist you with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, life stressors, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, and identity development. I have had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life.

I want to thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey and I will honor that by encouraging collaboration in this process. Through our work together, we will explore ways to overcome life’s inevitable obstacles and achieve goals.
