My Approach to Helping

I understand what it is like to live with pain. For decades I have struggled with spine, neck, and other pain. I have tried many ways to end my suffering - with varying results. For me, I have found relief with a combination of clinical hypnosis and other behavioral therapy, along with various medical and complementary modalities. These experiences inform my clinical specialty in pain management and bring a personal understanding of what it is like to suffer through my days, as well as a variety of considerations for treatment. I have also cared for loved ones who are ill or at the end stages of life, and I have experience in the medical field, with a specialty in living with cancer, and first responder services. I am happy to offer my expertise to help others who struggle in similar ways.

I am a seasoned Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and registered Hypnotherapist with a warm, open, and compassionate presence. My office space is expansive with life-giving energy from a view of Port Gardner Bay in downtown Everett. I am here to help you learn to manage acute and chronic pain, cope with illness, refresh your compassion to care for loved ones or patients in the field and to improve your overall wellbeing.

My clients say that they feel a deep sense of care and acceptance in my relaxed and comfortable space. Thank you for reading my profile! Let's talk briefly on the phone or get together soon so that you can get started on your journey to wellness!

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

My life has been both fulfilling and challenging, which I imagine is true for all of us! I have spent time in therapy myself and my journey to become a therapist has also helped me learn and grow as a woman, daughter, mom, and grandma. I feel that I am simply a fellow human being with the knowledge, ability, and willingness to meet you where you are to help you find ways forward in your life. It would be an honor for me to witness your growth as you work to bring your life to a higher level of wellness.
