Being a Therapist is one of the great joys in my life. I learn so much from my clients and strive to help them as best as I possibly can during our time together. Seeing individuals progress from a place they want to move away from and move into a place they are happier and more content in is an amazing process to witness. It is an honor to be allowed into someone's world and trusted to help them better achieve their goals. A responsibility that I do not take lightly.

I have had several individuals who have been brave enough to give therapy a chance after a negative experience. Each experience is unique, perhaps you simply did not "click" with the previous therapist? Perhaps they did not specialize in the area you wanted assistance with? Whatever the reason, therapy can work and it does work under the correct circumstances. My advice on this is, take the first step and reach out again, and then share your experience with the new person you have chosen to help you during this time in your life. If it is the right therapist for you, together you all will make it a success.
