My Approach to Helping

You’ve just found the team mate you can trust to help you in this journey to becoming a better you. You have come to the right place, at the right time.

So first, let's celebrate you! You're taking a new step to a better you. I'm so glad you're here and look forward to getting to know you! It doesn't matter if counseling is something that's brand new to you, or it’s something you've tried time and time again. We’ll navigate through life's challenges and obstacles into optimal mental, physical and spiritual health.

I am passionate about walking with individuals, families and couples. I specialize in adolescent issues, young adult issues, relationship management and couples. I also offer premarital and marital enrichment counseling through PREPAREENRICH. I will be incredibly honored to be your consistent and steady support, whether you face day to day life struggles or not so simple longer term challenges. Together, we will set and achieve goals that will help you walk full of purpose and life.

It is truly my heart to see my clients thriving. As your therapist, I will be will with you as you go through life's peaks, prairies, and valleys. You’re going to know that you are loved, valued and believed in. I want to help you develop a sense of hope, equip you with tools needed to cope with life's stressors, assist you in making desired changes in your life, and ensure you have meaningful and healthy relationships.

When you celebrate, I'll be there to celebrate with you! When you hurt and grieve, I'll be there with you. You’re just one step away from the pathway to becoming the best version of yourself. So let's take that next step and start building your better, brighter future!

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

There are several things I love about being a therapist. The first is I get the incredible opportunity to meet people from all walks of life! Sitting eye to eye with someone, hearing their stories and how they are working to overcome whatever challenge they face is inspiring. I get to build meaningful, therapeutic relationships that last for years. Seeing my clients walk through phases of life -getting married, having children, buying homes, empty-nesting, being that steady force in the life of someone I truly care for is humbling. When we reach the stage in the therapeutic relationship where clients are ready to spread their wings, I get to see them soar. Being a therapist is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding, purpose-filled experiences, and that is why I love it.
