My Approach to Helping

Life can feel extremely heavy when you're bogged down with so much. If we were to write down what's on your plate, you may write your family, your work, maybe your children or your significant other, maintaining friendships, keeping a life outside of work and home, and maybe a bit of self care if you're lucky. You may feel stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, unable to sleep, lacking motivation, isolated, etc. If you're living this life, let me tell you- You're not alone. It's hard. I see you. And I want this to be your sign to take a step back, and care for you. Let's explore what it would be like to choose YOU!

My passion is to empower the person who may look at their life and wonder "what is happening?" We can figure it out. First, we create a safe space for you to be the most authentic version of yourself. From there, we'll rediscover who you are- outside of your responsibilities, but as you! Then we start to rebuild into the person you want and deserve to be!

This season of life can be tough. It can feel thankless and lacking purpose. When you pour out so much of yourself, it can be easy to feel like you're constantly on "E". Please don't do this season alone. You deserve to be cared for and supported. Put yourself first, and let's get to the thriving person you deserve to be! Schedule your free consult today.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

There are several things I love about being a therapist. The first is I get the incredible opportunity to meet people from all walks of life! Sitting eye to eye with someone, hearing their stories and how they are working to overcome whatever challenge they face is inspiring. I get to build meaningful, therapeutic relationships that last for years. Seeing my clients walk through phases of life -getting married, having children, buying homes, empty-nesting, being that steady support in the life of someone I truly care for is humbling. When we reach the stage in the therapeutic relationship where clients are ready to spread their wings, I get to see them soar. Being a therapist is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding, purpose-filled experiences, and that is why I love it.
