My Approach to Helping
In my work with children, I utilize play therapy, which can take many forms, including drawing and sand tray play as well as working closely with parents around challenging behaviors.
For my work with teens and adults, I offer a safe environment in which a person is free to discuss difficulties without fear of judgment. Our work together will often be goal directed, with each person deciding what that may look like for themselves.
I am additionally a certified therapist in EMDR (and a Consultant in Training), a modality that I use with both children and adults. EMDR works effectively around a variety of challenges, including trauma and PTSD.
