My Approach to Helping
I utilize a psychodynamic approach with individuals and couples who are wanting to better understand themselves and their relationship with spouses, family, and coworkers. I use CBT and solution focused approaches for crisis situations to restore balance and cognitive stability. My goal is to provide coping skills when experiencing loss, grief, life transitions, anxiety and depression. Life changing events such as divorce, loss of a loved one, abuse, trauma, work stress, and relationships often cause feelings of depression, anxiety, confusion, and lacking a sense of purpose or direction. As your therapist, I assist you in navigating through this difficult time and Therapy sessions focus on you and your individual needs so you can move forward with peace and confidence.
