What's My Approach to Therapy?

My philosophy is that your abuse is not who you are but a challenge you will over come! When working with victims of sexual abusephysical abuse I like to work from a Cognitive Behavioral Approach, assisting the client in learning that they and not the abuse are in control of their thoughts and feelings For more information about sexual abuse and domestic violence treatment feel free to download the Free Tammi Young Therapy app ln Google Play and The Apple store. On this app you can find information about such subjects such as self care ,information on a new sexual abuse group as well as scriptural readings and meditations to cope with stress.! I have also written my first e-book entitled I Remember!!. This book can be downloaded on any Kindle device for 2.99 . This book talks about my experiences with sexual abuse and domestic violence and how God changed my life for his glory! I wrote this book to let victims know that they are not alone and that God can take a seemingly hopeless situation and make something beautiful out of it! I am also an approved Oklahoma state LMFT-Supervisor and provide supervision to pre-licensed LMFT candidates and consultation services to those clinicians who are licensed and want help in furthering their businesses.

My Practice & Services

I am presently working on a cash basis and my fees are $80 an hour, however, I accept major credit cards and checks .I am also part of Atnea and Coventry Insurance companies, which may have different benefits and co-pays depending on your network so be sure and let me know if you want to utilize any of these options.

Groups I Work With

  • I love working with survivors of physical or sexual abuse because I am allowed to be a part of God\'s restorative and transformation process. I also specialize in Christian counseling. I am also adding consultation to my practice, with a specialty in Domestic Violence and sexual abuse. This service will be for Licensed LMFTS, who want assistance in handling clients who have been physically or sexually abused. I also provide supervision to LMFT candidates who are ready to complete their hours towards becoming licensed clincians
