I provide counseling and assessments for at-risk adults, adolescents, and children. I am married to a Retired Navy Veteran and am the mother/stepmother to seven children. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have a PhD in Psychology. I have spent the past 23 years working with individuals, families, children, and adolescents. I have extensive experience working with Law Enforcement, Dispatch, and Corrections Officers, as well as Military Veterans, and their families. I specialize in treating individuals with Anxiety and Depression, Trauma/PTSD. I am an author and have spoken/taught courses focusing on addictions, information, and empowerment for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as disabilities and compassion fatigue. I believe in utilizing several modalities to help an individual to envision a future and acquire the coping mechanisms and skills to achieve the goals he/she desires.
