My Approach to Helping
As a holistic experiential counselor, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.
In combination with counseling psychology, I have studied a variety of belief systems, spiritual practices, values, ethics, and other discourses we use to give life meaning. In a collaborative effort, I will work with you toward healing past wounds, embracing your strengths, to create a happy life moving forward. Together, we identify and replace thoughts and beliefs that no longer are serving you with a positive, loving, and compassionate mindset.
I integrate many approaches such as positive psychology, emotional-focused therapy, mindfulness, spirituality, and Gottman couples therapy to move through confusion, resentment, guilt, and sadness. My goal is to help you to gain clarity and insight into the root cause of the issues and have the most profound breakthroughs in your life.
