My Approach to Helping
If you want to feel less anxiety, worry, and tension, I can help. One of my specializations is helping people to feel calmer, less reactive and more relaxed. Some of my clients feel general free-floating anxiety. Others struggle with circular obsessive thoughts or a phobia. The last group has anxieties that stem from past trauma. We will use cognitive therapy and mindfulness to reduce these fears and help you to feel more in control. Letting go of anxiety may take time and effort but is a lifelong gift to yourself.
My style is supportive and direct. I balance validation with working together to find a more helpful perspective. We figure out what you can do in your daily life to feel better, so you have concrete strategies. I specialize in this work because it is such a joy to be a part of your journey to calm and balance.
