My Approach to Helping
My goal as a therapist is to make the therapeutic journey a a comforting and safe space.
Something to know about my approach is that I am a systemic therapist, meaning, I view you as more than just an individual, but rather a product of the environment you grew up in. This helps me understand what made you who you are today, and what we can do to help you heal. Together, we will be able to overcome the challenges that have been making you feel stuck or alone. I know how hard it can be, and I value the progress that can happen in therapy. Everyone is different, which is why I tailor each session to the individual. My specialties include helping those struggling with anxiety, ADHD (utilizing CBT skills) and trauma (utilizing EMDR), and are looking to heal themselves while feeling more confident in who they are.
