My Approach to Helping
Are you feeling trapped by your own patterns? Are you feeling consistent self-doubt and anxiety? Is depression coloring your everyday experience?
I fully believe that the capacity to thrive lives in your hands, heart, and imagination. As your therapist, I will work with you to uncover your own inherent wisdom. Together we can create a collaborative environment that supports your wise self in expressing more of itself. And, with your wise self in the room, we can explore the parts of you that may feel lost, unsure, or left out in the cold. Often when these painful parts take center stage in our lives, they can paint our experience so that we don’t see the other colors on our canvas. As the conversation unfolds, I am here to listen and help hold you as you hold yourself. I welcome all of you into the room, even the parts you might be scared to hold.
Through the process of working together, I will support you to empower yourself to love and celebrate all of you. As your self-love increases, you may come to realize that the painful parts of you are just that: a part of you, and that your life is not defined by these parts. This dialogue is a journey of self-empowerment and self-love, and I am here to advocate for you and support you.
