Rebecca is a licensed psychotherapist in Santa Monica, California who works with individuals and families. Although Rebecca works with individuals of all ages, she specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma. She approaches her practice through a trauma-informed lens and views therapy as a collaborative process. Your therapeutic goals impact her use of psychological theories from various perspectives. She utilizes the most effective approach or combination of approaches in order to address your needs and goals for therapy.

During her training and work experience, Rebecca became certified in the following evidence-based practice interventions: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Managing and Adapting Practices, Seeking Safety, Crisis-Oriented Recovery Services, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools, and Families OverComing Under Stress. Rebecca has also received training in various other interventions that can be utilized in treatment, including, but not limited to, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for Traumatized Children, Cognitive Processing Therapy, play therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
