My Approach to Helping

I help people find relief from depression and anxiety and build deeper connections with the ones they love. I will guide you towards a new understanding of how your emotions work and how your relationships operate that will facilitate a shift towards wellness and increase joy. My approach is warm, creative, interactive, and relationship-based. I create a space free from judgment and criticism, a place where you can connect to your true self and find clarity for your life path.

I collaborate with people on their goals, build skills and incorporate a variety of creative interventions. There is an organic piece to anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship dynamics that provide critical information about you, your creative voice and your unique life path. I recognize that we are all influenced by early family dynamics but I am also aware of the impact of culture and societal pressures.

Please feel free to contact me for a free initial consultation to discuss how I can best support you.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I look at therapy as the Express Train to relief and healing. Some people go to therapy when they have hit rock bottom, but most people try and live with the pain. They avoid therapy because they're concerned that they will let the genie out of the bottle and feel even worse. Or they believe they are somehow weak if they can't "go it alone." Humans have a propensity for growth and most will, in time, develop the skills and awareness they need to change.

But. Do you really want to wait years to feel joyful, have loving relationships and develop a life long partnership with your child? If you have children, you don't have time to wait. They need you to be your best now.

The therapeutic relationship is a mechanism of growth and change. It's the express train to nurturing relationships, finding your true self and living the live you want to live. Therapy will take you farther than you ever thought you could go
