My Approach to Helping
I believe in being open with who I am as a person. I am biracial being both white and black (best of best worlds hahaha) and I view life from a realistic lens. I am someone is laid back yet strong-willed, comforting, yet challenging, someone who will smile and laugh with you yet will sit with you during the uncomfortable, sad and painful times, someone who has more energy than a two year old toddler yet goes to bed at 8pm. I believe that how we look at challenges and obstacles can either provide strengthen and solutions to those challenges or provide more hurdles to overcome. I look forward to overcoming those hurdles with you.

From this point onwards, your therapeutic voyage will be filled with ups and downs by Nigel Edokpolo a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) will be with you the entire way through. Nigel completed his Masters in 2023 and has the attitude of Never Give Up throughout his sessions. Nigel’s background is in applied behavioural analysis and cognitive behavioural thearpy, which helps people better understand thoughts, feelings, behaviours, core beliefs, and yourself. It is how we react to our situation (perception) that gives our the power and courage to overcome our trails. While all virtual, Nigel aims to create a safe, warm and welcoming environment for everyone whether you are in your home, car, private office. Hardworking, nurturing, challenging, client-led therapy is what you can expect to expect at Christie Heart Psychotherapy when working with Nigel Edokpolo.
