My Approach to Helping
"""LIFE ISN'T ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS; IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN ""
I completed my Master's degree in Social Work at Radford University and have over 25 years of clinical experience across various settings, including outpatient clinics, crisis intervention, outpatient community-based programs, inpatient psychiatric and residential treatment facilities, and private practice. I have provided clinical and administrative supervision to social work students, interns, and professionals. My approach emphasizes person-centered goal development for therapy utilizing Cognitive-behavioral, Solution-focused, and Strength-based treatment modalities. I am invested in an approach emphasizing a holistic approach to mental health.
