My Approach to Therapy

I am the Founder and Director of Ashburn Psychological and Psychiatric Services, which is a multidisciplinary practice comprised of MD, PhD, and Master's level clinicians. The clinicians at Ashburn Psychological and Psychiatric Services provide psychiatry (medication management), testing (e.g., for neuropsychological, developmental, educational, behavioral, or emotional concerns), and various therapies (e.g., child, adolescent, adult, family, and couples).

My Practice & Services

Cognitive-behavior therapy, interpersonal therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, parent consultations, and education/guidance are my main treatment approaches. There are several other psychologists and therapists at Ashburn Psychological and Psychiatric Services who have specific training and approaches in practice in several other areas. The psychiatrists, psychologists, and evaluators at APS are here to assess and treat individuals from two years of life through the life span. In terms of finding the best fit for you at Ashburn Psychological and Psychiatric Services, I recommend calling our office manager, Christine Kutt, to discuss your situation and needs.
