What's My Approach to Therapy?
We love what we do! We get to help you live a happier, more balanced life. Insight Into Action Therapy is a group of experts in their fields. If you are struggling with an addiction, substance use, relationships, mood disorders, or the areas listed, we can help. Therapy is more than just talking. You will get support, perspective, guidance, and tools on your unique situation.
Insight offers individual, group, play, family, play, and couples therapy as well as psychological and psychiatric evaluations, medication management, on-site drug and alcohol testing, and court ordered evaluation and treatment. Insight knows substance use occurs on a spectrum and that not everyone who struggles has an addiction. We specialize in harm reduction psychotherapy and alcohol moderation, lead by three time author and nationally recognized trainer, Cyndi Turner. We also offer MATMOUD, including Suboxone and the Vivitrol shot. Please visit our website, check out our bios, and call one of us. If we are not the right fit, we will connect you to someone who is.
My Practice & Services
Insight has a team of ten clinicians with differing specialties and age groups. This allows you to receive outpatient services in one location. Your child may be struggling and you realize couples counseling could help; sometimes two people in the family need therapy and we work to schedule those sessions at the same time so you don't have to drive twice. We collaborate and communicate to get you streamlined services. If you need medication, we have a psychiatrist on staff where we can walk down the hall and share the background so you don't have to start over.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Call us! You will speak to one of our therapists, not just a receptionist who schedules you. We want you to ask us questions to make sure we are the right fit for you. By talking with you, we get a sense of whose personality might be better for your needs. We want you to feel safe and have hope that things will get better.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
An initial evaluation is just as much you getting to know the therapist as them getting to know what you are struggling with, what you have tried, and how you best work. We ask you what helped and what didn't with your previous therapist, individualizing treatment for YOU.
