My Approach to Helping
Meeting people where they are at. The most important aspect of therapy is trust in the relationship between the client and counselor. Trust and respect in a non-judgmental environment gives my clients the opportunity to be listened to, validated, and supported in whatever problems they are experiencing. The most rewarding aspect of my job is being a part of renewed hope and positive transformations in lives of the people I serve. My own personal and professional journey inspired me to become a therapist because I have a passion for helping people find solutions and hope. Therapy is an investment in your future, it takes commitment and willingness to work at it. The results can be life changing. My approach is eclectic using evidence based practices which include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, Attachment, EMDR, Solution Focused, Art therapy, Mindfulness practices, as well as others.
