My Approach to Helping
Whether it is depression, anxiety, improving unhealthy behavioral patterns and irrational beliefs, wanting to increase one's well-being, or the beginning of a journey towards healing – I provide a “client-centered” approach that grants my clients a safe space to process their thoughts and emotions.
I aim to encourage, provide therapeutic support, and aid my clients during their journey towards self-discovery and growth. I strive for collaboration with my clients in creating a therapeutic plan that will fit their unique needs during their journey towards achieving their personal goals.
I offer various therapeutic interventions and assist in developing coping skills through Mindfulness practices, art, journaling, and other activities that incorporates the client's interests. My knowledge in therapy comes from years of practice at various medical and clinical settings such as psychiatric hospitals and community mental health agencies.
I believe in the idea that my client and I are a team that has a common goal – the client’s improvement in dealing with their unique life experiences - good or bad. With that said, I look forward to meeting you and becoming your ally during your journey!
