My Approach to Helping

I enjoy helping individuals and couples create the intimacy and connection in their lives they have been craving. Our relationship with ourself and others define our wellbeing and for many of us our past hurts get in the way of connecting in the ways that we desire.

In our work together we will practice being vulnerable and tuning into our pain. This practice is not something that comes naturally to many of us and can be uncomfortable. It takes courage to face our emotions, stories, and experiences but by doing so you can learn to accept and love yourself and others.

I specialize in working with individuals who come from families of addiction or trauma. I love helping couples work through their communication barriers and find deeper and understanding connection than ever before. I use concepts of codependency to help people identify their own self-worth and needs.

My Role as a Therapist

In our therapy sessions I will bring my full, flawed self to every session. I believe being my full self with my clients allows them to also be authentic and allows for healing to take place. You can expect me to trip over my words occasionally and mess up common phrases. Lets embrace our imperfections and be human together.
