Find Help For Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Thoughts...More

Obsessive thought patterns find you feeling socially insecure while those around you don't know it.

This fuels your anxiety, which means that getting through each day can feel exhausting. It takes a lot of mental work to help you do life.

The weight of this grows over time and weightiness turns to depression. It's hard to feel motivated when life feels like this much work.

This cycle has it's moments of reprieve, but even those can't be trusted. It makes you nervous to feel better, wondering how long it will last.

Let's Break The Cycle

This cycle is all too familiar and you're ready for change. You've been working with this struggle for some time now. Maybe you've had help before, or maybe this is the first time you're looking into receiving therapy.

Whether you know that trying therapy can be helpful or even if you are just beginning to consider it for the first time, you're a little discouraged that it's coming to this. You're wondering if this investment is really needed, or even worth it.

After all, you're doing okay in school or work and you have relationships that are doing well with a support system around you. So you feel hesitant, you think you'll just keep trying. But that's when the cycle keeps going.

When you've spent a large portion of time making life work for you it's hard to believe that going to someone for help will do much. It's hard to believe that there is someone who really gets it. Someone to help you sort out the feelings and thoughts, the overwhelm, and to help identify and tame the inner critic. Someone to help you find healing insights (that are already in you!) that will bring new, helpful, life-giving options. You're worth the time and investment of finding the life you want, the YOU that you want. Let's find out together if and how therapy could help you - call for a free consult.

More Info About My Practice

My therapeutic approach involves listening to your life stories, current and past, and discussing the factors that may be contributing to your present day challenges. We will work closely together as we explore these presenting issues and find practical ways of managing them. We'll use our relationship to name what happens for you as you relate to yourself and others. This brings an intentional time and space for you to discover motivations behind your struggles. With this new awareness you can create new options. You have the wisdom and insight to unlock this kind of healing change!

Call for a free 20-minute consult and start on your path to change. Let's dive into the coping strategies that will bring immediate relief, and then move into the deeper insights that will bring lasting change and, ultimately the fulfilling life you desire.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in treating a range of adverse issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, substance dependence, and different forms of abuse, particularly narcissistic relationship patterns. In teens and young adults, I work to build skills for emotion regulation, interpersonal relating, and distress tolerance.

These may not be the terms that you would use as you come to find help for yourself and that's okay. You might better identify with the idea that you feel stressed and overwhelmed and just want help! Maybe you notice that you want something more for your friendships, family or romantic relationships. You've been noticing that life is okay but not completely fulfilling and happy. The struggles you bring all have clinical names behind them that are helpful for us as we do the work, yet the important point here is that you feel bad and you just want to feel better. So you want to know if I can help. Call me for a free 20-minute phone consult and let's find out together.
