My Approach to Helping
As human beings, we are all complex. We have our own trauma, life experiences, and stories. When life overwhelms us, we can often feel ashamed to seek help - like something is wrong with us if we do. When you take that first step in reaching out, I will meet you where you are to help facilitate your journey to growth and healing. Providing a safe space and an authentic, non-judgmental approach, I integrate a collaborative approach with clients to help them reach their goals.
My areas of focus are anxiety, depression, identity, self-esteem, and life transitions among others. I also offer cultural competency and a safe space to BIPOC and biracial clients who want to navigate struggles with mental health, cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and more. I can offer a warm, compassionate approach using CBT, DBT, ACT, Attachment and other techniques that give insight into maladaptive relationship patterns, thought patterns, and behaviors. Together, we can tackle forming healthier habits and focus on your future growth.
