My Approach to Helping
I work from a relational, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach utilizing the best evidence-based research, latest neuroscience, clinical experience, and knowledge of the client’s personality, value system, and issues presented for effective results. I am extensively trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy, complex trauma, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Gottman Method while incorporating somatic and mindfulness methods to promote full mind and body integration. I am also trained in cultural competency to effectively understand and address the diverse needs and experiences of clients from multicultural backgrounds.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my objective is to help you live your best, authentic life through guidance, perspective, compassion, support, and unconditional positive regard. I will provide a safe contained space to help you process experiences and gain tools and skills, uncover the root causes of your struggles, recognize pattern identification, and explore the emotional and interpersonal challenges that are holding you back and feeling stuck. I look forward to being a part of your path toward living a more meaningful, joyous, balanced, and purposeful life!
