What's My Approach to Therapy?
Growth emerges from life's difficulties; the meaning and narrative we assign is key. I use various therapeutic approaches in a collaborative style to empower athletes and performers to uncover strengths, enhance performance, and navigate emotional, cognitive, and behavioral hurdles. With a focus on mindfulness, systems therapy, and mental skills training, I support clients and their families in strengthening confidence, regulating emotions, sharpening focus, instilling composure, thriving under pressure, and building strong interpersonal relationships. As a former collegiate athlete, I help my clients thrive on and off the sports field.
My approach is relaxed, based in mindfulness, yet direct. Facilitating an experience of validation, clarity, and catharsis always remains my intention. I feel privileged in this role to support and guide my clients toward their goals and desire for change. The majority of my practice is in person, with an online Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-compliant platform as a second option.
We can determine over a consultation call if I’m a good fit for you, and, if so, set up an appointment. I see my clients Monday through Thursday from 12–7 p.m. My website provides more information about me.
