My Approach to Helping
I believe in partnering with individuals to help them achieve their mental health goals. My practice utilizes Cognitive Behavioral techniques which focus on changing how we think in a way that changes our emotions and behaviors. I work with clients from a strengths-based perspective on a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma and other mental health disorders. Together, we can address a broad range of concerns including grief and loss and relationship and family concerns.
My specialties also include working with groups and individuals with substance abuse/addictions and co-occurring disorders (substance use and other behavioral health diagnoses). I have experience working with children, adolescent, adult, and older adult populations.
