What's My Approach to Therapy?
My therapy style is collaborative and client-centered. I believe therapy should meet you where you are—whether you’re looking to process deep emotional pain or just need support navigating day-to-day stress. I typically begin each session by checking in on what’s going well, what’s challenging, and where you’d like to focus. We’ll balance thoughtful exploration with practical tools for growth.
I use a blend of evidence-based approaches, including:
EMDR: To reprocess trauma and reduce emotional distress.
DBT: To strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship skills.
CBT: To help challenge unhelpful thought patterns and reduce emotional suffering.
Family Systems: To explore how early relationships influence present dynamics.
Solution-Focused Therapy: To build on your strengths and set realistic, meaningful goals.
Therapy is a space for both reflection and action—and together, we’ll find a rhythm that works for you.
My Practice & Services
I’ve been in the mental health field since 2016, beginning with home-based therapy before moving into outpatient care. In that time, I’ve helped clients work through trauma, anxiety, depression, communication issues, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with come in feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin—and together, we create space for healing and movement forward.
Clients often tell me they appreciate how real I am in the room. I bring warmth, honesty, and a touch of humor when it’s welcome. I believe therapy only works when there’s genuine connection, so I prioritize building a trusting relationship from the start. It’s not about fixing you—it’s about uncovering your strengths, making sense of your experiences, and finding a path that aligns with your values.
I’ve known I wanted to be a therapist since I was 12. Personal experiences with anxiety and family conflict deepened my belief that change is possible and that no one should have to navigate their pain alone.
