My Approach to Helping
Are you wanting to feel more in control and less overwhelmed? In times of heightened stress or during difficult life transitions, feelings of guilt, depression, shame, and fear can be painful and debilitating. As a therapist, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental relationship in which people can address and resolve problems they are experiencing. I care about the people with whom I work, and always strive to be attentive, compassionate, and respectful. I work collaboratively with people to better understand the root causes of their problems, which provides relief and opens up new possibilities for growth.
More Info About My Practice
I help people who are going through difficult life transitions, feeling stressed or overwhelmed about relationships, battling depressed mood or different kinds of anxiety, having problems concentrating or getting motivated, or wanting to address longstanding patterns in themselves or in interactions with others that have been difficult to change.
I also work well with people who feel skeptical about therapy due to negative experiences in the past. It's difficult to make yourself vulnerable again when you have felt misunderstood in the past, but you may find my approach to be a better fit for you.
