My Approach to Helping
Hello and congratulations on taking the first step toward a higher quality of life! Are you sad and anxious at times? Do you struggle with grief/loss or relationship challenges? Not sure what to do or if therapy can help? I would love to hear your story and work with you to develop a plan to achieve a greater sense of peace, contentment and happiness.
I've found that venting and sharing alone can be helpful; discovering the underlying situation which often lurks beneath the surface and motivates us to behave a certain way can also be a source of great joy and satisfaction.
My office is located in a spa-like, professional environment and the approach used is individualized to meet your needs. I'm open-minded and non judgmental. I strive for humility and will treat you with respect, welcoming feedback on an on-going basis about what works and doesn't work for you. I believe you have what you need to live life to the fullest.
More Info About My Practice
It takes courage to open up to a stranger. If you're willing to share openly, the therapeutic relationship can function like a clear mirror which outlines the path to growth and change.
Therapy which takes place in a safe, comfortable environment using a non-judgmental approach has the best chance for success. This is especially true when anxiety/panic take place due to unpleasant thoughts and memories. Inner Path to Wellness Counseling takes place in such an environment. We'll address factors affecting your body, mind, and emotions. Hearing your needs and determining the fastest and most comfortable means to healing is a top priority.
What I Usually Need to Know to Help
It helps to know how you think- what triggers you...what makes you happy and unhappy. Learning about how you think...what makes you 'tick'--we can explore opportunities for change you may have been unaware of! I love helping people discover their true nature-the person they are inside which goes beyond the roles they play in the world, possessions, socioeconomic status, etc. Helping people know their true nature, solve the problems they face and achieve a higher quality of life is one of my greatest pleasures. Seeing people leave therapy in a better place than when they arrived is the best reward!
