Many people don't realize how much of an impact their past has on their present day life; others know all too well. Trauma is any experience that changes the way we view the world, ourselves, andor others. I specialize in treating complex trauma & attachment wounds; though you do no need to identify with these terms in order for us to do great work together. I am primarily an IFSEMDR therapist, offering compassion, experience, & evidence based treatment models, to support you in building a loving and understanding relationship with yourself and healing parts of you wounded by the past.
I can help you make sense of your body sensations, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors and work with you to understand how your life experiences impact you now- in some conscious and other unconscious ways. With deeper understanding and compassion for yourself and new tools to cope with stress, we can work together to tap into your innate wisdom to heal.
We cannot control what happens to us & we often cannot control our initial reaction to stress or trauma.
