My Approach to Helping

If you are highly critical of yourself, have difficulty trusting in yourself, are facing a life transition, feel stuck in long-standing patterns of thinking or being, or are experiencing relational issues, therapy may be a meaningful process for you to engage in. Anxiety, depression, and issues around self-esteem are painful experiences that many of us face. Often times, we get used to feeling these ways, or don't know what to do about them, or we believe what our self-critic tells us about ourselves, resulting in feelings of shame and a pressure to be different.

I honor the therapeutic relationship deeply and offer a warm and accepting space for my clients. My job is to enter your world, understand what your experiences have been like, what they have felt like, and how they have shaped who you are and how you feel about yourself. Through this understanding, I work with you to cultivate self-compassion and change. I will provide you support in identifying the false beliefs you may have about yourself and what you are capable of. By building trust in your authentic self, we will work to change old, unhelpful patterns of thinking and feeling, and find new ways to manage life.

If this resonates with you, please feel free to give me a call and set up a free 20-minute consultation.

Finding the right therapist for you truly matters.

I hope to be the right fit for you!

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I love about being a therapist is so deeply holding acceptance for and knowing that a client is enough in who they are at their most truest and most authentic-core. Often times, clients have a difficult time consistently holding this truth and belief for themselves. One of the most beautiful and most effective parts of working with clients is helping guide them closer and closer to feeling this confidence, acceptance, and knowing for themselves. Regardless of what issue or life experience a client is coming in to therapy for, this is often times a meaningful and essential part of the therapeutic process that I am incredibly honored being a part of.
