I don't currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage
Deciding to enter therapy can be a challenging decision. The idea of talking about things that you may be struggling to understand yourself can feel daunting and intimidating.
People often ask me, "how does therapy work?" Well, much of our daily life is rushed and focused on the needs of others. Therapy is a space that gives you the opportunity to focus on yourself. It's a time where you can slow down, process, and make sense of the parts of your life that feel messy or cause stress.
I'm passionate about helping individuals understand the relationships, experiences, and sometimes unconscious patterns that have shaped their lives. By sharing my understanding of your concerns with the respect and thoughtfulness that it deserves, I hope to not only help you find insight and relief from these stressors, but help form new understandings of your past and present so you can feel good about the next chapter of your life.
My Practice & Services
I'm a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, addiction, and severe mood disorders in adults and adolescents.
My clinical philosophy is grounded in psychodynamic theory, with an integration of cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques that can provide urgent symptom alleviation. I found this dual-approach most helpful in successfully decreasing feelings of anxiety, stress, depression, and anger issues.
