Life is a journey composed of both positive and negative experiences that shape us as unique individuals. These may affect you deeply, and can cause a lot of concerns or struggles, preventing you to fully enjoying your daily life. Do you feel that your well-being and happiness is diminished? That you struggle with the aftermaths of your past experiences, or you worry too much about your future? You can take control over your struggles and concerns or deeply distressing feelings or thought - these do not define you as a person. As a person-centered integrative therapist, I offer a collaborative approach to help you connect with yourself; understand your body-mind connection; challenge unhealthy thoughts and feelings; develop healthier coping strategies and self- soothing techniques; help you in the process of change, self-growth, self-awareness, empowerment, to achieve emotional balance; and to develop resilience for the future. I offer safe, welcoming, accepting, genuine, and compassionate environment where we can explore and work collaboratively on whatever you feel is important to you, to bring balance and happiness into your life.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in women issues and work with individuals struggling with trauma, relationships, self-image, life transition, abuse, health-related issues, family-related issues, cross-cultural issues, losses/grief, depression, anxiety, mood-related issues, and other inter/intrapersonal issues.

As a trauma professional, I work with individuals straggling with post-traumatic stress (PTSD, PTSS), depression, anxiety, and loss/grief. I work by integrating well-researched interventions that have been found as the best treatment approach to heal PTSD and related issues.

I also have experience working with individuals diagnosed with personality disorders, specifically borderline personality disorder; and paranoid/suspicious thoughts.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy can play an important part in your well-being. It is a form of 'talking therapy' where both you and therapist work in confidence and collaboration on helping you overcome deeply distressing emotions, thoughts, and reactions to stressful situations as well as to learn better and healthier coping strategies and skills to solve problems affecting you and your relationships. It is also a safe place where you can explore your past experiences and develop a better understanding of how these influence your well-being. Psychotherapy involves a process of change, self-growth, and development of self-actualization.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Helping others to overcome their own struggles and make positive changes in their life is what I'm passionate about. Being able to take a journey with each unique individual is what I love the most about my profession - it is such an honor and privilege to be a part of a healing process of others. I love investing my knowledge, experience (both personal and professional), and time into peoples life. The most appreciating part I love is the deep connection I strive to establish with another human being, where they can be vulnerable, trust in their process of change, share their true selves, and thrive to better themselves.

It is nothing more fulfilling in life than to see others living their life to their full potential.
