My Approach to Helping

I enjoy working with adults, children, teenagers, and their families. I specialize in issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, ODD, ADHD, relationship issues, and trauma.
I have helped many parents with creating order, consistency, and loving discipline in their households in order to alleviate behavior problems in both school and home. I thrive working with adolescents and enjoy the challenge of getting to know teenagers and gaining their trust in order to help them through the difficulties of their lives.
I believe that everyone has the ability to heal with the right help. The relationship that one has with their therapist is the most important part in guiding others to a place where they want to be, where they can function better in society and most importantly, feel better about themselves. My therapy approach relies heavily on that relationship and also incorporates CBT, mindfulness, meditation, and talk therapy approaches. I have been told that there is something about my office door in that clients feel they can relax and open up once in session with me. I strive to create a peaceful and open environment where you feel you can truly be yourself and share whatever is on your mind and heart.
