My Approach to Helping
Elly Sanchez is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience
working in a diverse number of fields, including mental health field. She attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage
for her undergraduate and Alaska Pacific University for her Master's
of Science in Counseling Psychology.
She is fluent in Spanish, knowledgeable, ethical, and skilled in her
selected fields; flexible and comprehensive in her approach; and
adaptable to the needs of the clients she serves.
She aspires to be a dynamic and engaging counselor that honors
strengths in the client as well as personal awakening. In addition,
her goal as a counselor is to help others understand the self, and
themselves within the context of their relationships so they may
experience more meaningful roles both at home and in the workplace.
In addition to her therapy practice, she enjoys helping clients create Healthy
Adult Relationships for individuals that want to break the cycle of
codependency and dysfunctional relationships by learning and
practicing the skills found in healthy adult relationships.
She is dedicated to creating a healthy and supportive environment
which promotes the personal development of her clients and a rewarding
counseling experience.
