My Approach to Helping
You deserve to feel safe, whole, and good "enough”— just as you are! As a therapist and a part of the transgender, queer, ethnic minority, multicultural immigrant, trauma survivor, and (dis)ability communities, I’m dedicated to appreciating what makes you - you. Together, we will create a compassionate, secure space where you can explore any topic, experience, or aspect of yourself freely and without judgment. A space where you don’t have to explain—you can just be.
In our collaboration, we’ll move at your pace. You’ll set the goals, and I’ll bring the tools. I draw from a range of modalities—including dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Relational Attachment-Based approaches—all grounded in a queer-affirming, feminist, anti-oppressive, and harm-reduction framework. If you’re exploring or integrating experiences with psychedelics, I also offer thoughtful, trauma-informed support.
Taking care of ourselves and tending to our wounds benefits everyone around us. I believe that true healing comes from being heard, looking at ourselves with kinder eyes, and having the right tools to navigate (seemingly endless) life challenges. Give yourself the care you deserve! I look forward to hearing from you!
