My Approach to Helping
There are times in life when it seems that circumstances will overwhelm and swallow us whole. Have you noticed that nobody seems to talk about the "downside" to becoming a mom? Have you been blindsided by emotions like depression, anxiety, guilt, and shame or obsessive thoughts and feel like you are alone in the way you feel? Do you look at other moms and think "why does it come so easy to her, when it is so hard for me?" Are you faking being okay, while inside if feels like your life has come apart?
I use a person centered approach to therapy, offering a humanistic and judgement-free environment, to facilitate the inner strength needed for personal growth. I help moms find a new path in motherhood and regain some of the joy that becoming a mom was supposed to bring.

My Therapy Focus
I love nothing more than to witness the transformation of mom. Whether it is a pregnant mom plagued with anxiety about becoming a mom or delivering her baby, a stay-at-home mom who feels like she has lost herself, a professional mom feeling guilty and torn between her obligations, or a new mom overwhelmed by postpartum depression and anxiety - I have collaborated with other brave moms to take their lives back and emerge empowered and invigorated!
