My Approach to Helping
Debora Miranda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) dedicated to assisting clients in improving their quality of life through therapy. She primarily works with adults struggling with challenges such as stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, past trauma, bereavement, poor communication, and other life challenges. Debora has a special interest in couples therapy. Debora completed her Master of Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling at Walden University. She is a former military spouse with ample experience navigating the stressors and positive experiences of military life. This, coupled with her professional experience with trauma clients (Holocaust survivors), enables her to provide the guidance and support her clients are seeking. She utilizes different treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, and she offers a judgment-free environment as well as a safe place to work on your thoughts and emotions.
